What is the "best rate"?
As used in our advertising, "best rate" is advertising on another website that is $1 or less than the rate for the room you booked on our website. The other website's rate must be publicly available for viewing and booking, and be for the same hotel, room type, number of guests, currency, and dates as the hotel, room type, room, the number of guests, the currency and the dates you booked.
What do I do if I find a cheaper rate?
Contact our Customer Service department at reservations@dot-hotels.com within 24 hours of booking.
How long do I have to submit the online claim form to have my rate adjusted and earn DOT Rewards bonus points?
Please contact our Customer Service department within 24 hours of booking and no later than 7 days before your scheduled arrival
A Customer Service agent should respond by email within one business day. If your email is sent outside of our normal business hours, it will be processed the next day.. m.a 6:00 p. m, EST.
What are the main requirements to obtain the guarantee?
Reservations must be made through this website or through the telephone number of our reservation center.
You must have a DOT Hotels reservation confirmation number.
The rate on the other website must be for the same hotel, the same type of room, the same number of guests, cancellation policies, meal plan and for the same dates that you booked. The other rate on the other website must also be publicly available for viewing and booking. All of these conditions must still be in place at the time your request is processed.
A customer service agent must be able to verify the lower internet rate* and the other information listed above for the applicable dates.
What is the delivery time for my rate to be adjusted and to receive my bonus points?
A Customer Service agent should respond by email within one business day. If your online claim form is submitted outside of our normal business hours, it will be processed the next day.
Please allow 2-4 weeks for points to post to your DOT Rewards account.
The new rate is not effective until you receive your confirmation number from Customer Service.
